CDC recommends updated COVID-19 vaccine in the fall as infection numbers are slowly on the rise
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that individuals aged six months and older should be given an updated COVID-19 vaccine for the 2024-25 immunization campaign, irrespective of whether they have previously been vaccinated. The recommendation will take effect as soon as the new vaccines become available later this year.
Please be aware that COVID-19 infections are on the rise, both nationally, in the state and locally here in Mendocino County.
